Procedure

  1. STEP 01

Draping is performed after local anesthesia* or brachial plexus anesthesia.

  2. STEP 02

The size of partial rotator cuff tears is reduced using LRST under ultrasound guidance.

* Local anesthesia method

Anesthetize the skin with 2% lidocaine at the site where the needle will be inserted. Then 2% in the subacromial space Inject 10cc of Lidocaine and wait for 3 minutes.

* All procedures can be performed using a bed side U/S guided procedure on an outpatient basis.

Recovery

  1. 1. Rest for 12 hours after the procedure.
  2. 2. Exercises are performed after 2 to 4 weeks.
  3. 3. Repeated injections of atellocollagen, which may be performed
2 weeks after the procedure, induce a synergistic effect on the recovery
    of partially ruptured tendons.
  4. 4. PDO threads are decomposed and absorbed in the body. It takes 6 to 9
months to completely decompose. During the decomposition period,
it counteracts the tension of the partially ruptured tendon and induces
the production of collagen around the thread that passes through
the ruptured area. Helps heal the ruptured area.

Complication

Discomfort, pain, PDO thread breakage, hematoma, bleeding, inflammation, infection etc.
